I think one of the hardest things for Jared will be that though there are many prayer services and Masses offered at the University, the only icon I've seen so far is in the library and not in the Church. The second is that he will not be able to take communion there. At the Mass at the end of the parent orientation, everyone went forward, no questions asked or restrictions voiced, to take communion, except Jared and George. I had to leave earlier to pick up Ben from his University. So Jared will have to avoid peer pressure to keep his Faith, even there. At least icons are allowed in the dorm rooms.
Some day there needs to be an undergraduate Orthodox University.
