More About Me

I have an Associates Degree in Nursing and worked 10 years in the fields of (chronologially) Day Surgery pre-op and recovery room, hospital floor nursing, and then I specialized in Neonatal Intensive Care and Labor and Delivery. When I had young children and needed a more regular schedule, I worked as a Utilization Review nurse to screen insurance claims. (btw, nursing notes have to be brief and to the point, and that's my habit for better or worse.) For the past 10 years, thankfully, I've been able to stay at home supervising my kids' education, except for the one year I spent as a single parent and took my still young children with me to drive mostly junior high kids in a public school bus. Now that was an experience.
